Oct 24th: Haiti has been shut down since Sept 12. Gang fighting continues to terrorize Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas. Prices continue to rise and fuel, food, and water continue to be hard to find. Cholera is spreading and hunger is widespread. Even communities removed from the violence are suffering from the high prices and lack of resources throughout the country.
We want to thank you for partnering with PLH to provide assistance to the Camp Marie community at this time. Getting cash from the bank is still a struggle in our area, but as soon as we can, we will turn your gifts into food supplies that will be a huge blessing to families in Camp Marie. PLH partners with the 14 churches in our town to purchase food supplies that the churches then distribute to families most in need. Thank you for your support and your prayers.
