Development Coordinator

We seek a full-time development coordinator to head our ongoing fundraising and operational needs. Reporting to the executive director, this individual must have an established background in coordinating nonprofit donation strategies and staff/volunteer leadership.

Qualifications and requirements: The candidate must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and evidence of a mature Christian faith, be in agreement with Project Living Hope’s statement of faith, and be willing to invest him/herself in the mission of Project Living Hope. This role involves organizing large-scale fundraising initiatives, working with board members, managing our annual fund, and building relationships with donors, staff, and volunteers. The development coordinator will also assist with implementing major giving and planned giving fundraising strategies. Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of fund development experience, preferably in the nonprofit field. They should also be familiar with nonprofit software, donor databases, and other fundraising technology to use in their daily job duties. 

Responsibilities:
1. Plan and evaluate fundraising campaigns and activities.
2. Identify and steward prospective donors.
3. Assist the Executive Director and board members with maintaining donor relationships.
4. Recruit and train fundraising staff and volunteer leaders.
5. Stay on top of fundraising trends and the nonprofit community.
6. Solicit business sponsorships and donations from major givers.

Compensation is based on qualifications and experience.
