COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Project Living Hope desires to be part of the community, not outsiders coming in with our own agendas. Relationships are valued, and this is especially crucial because the Haitian culture is a very relational one. Working alongside the local leadership and churches, we seek to empower and strengthen the community by providing training, hosting community activities, encouraging unity, and instilling within the community a sense of ownership. Through this, Haitians can gain the means and tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and make a life-changing difference in their families and community.
